Jamie Gotch, Chief Technical Officer for Subatomic Studios, is best known for his work on Fieldrunners, a popular tower defense-style strategy game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. With more than 5 years of game industry experience, he co-founded Subatomic Studios, a company that has been called a poster child for independent iPhone developers.

When Subatomic Studios released Fieldrunners in October 2008, the game became an instant hit in the mobile gaming community. It was featured on the front cover of TIME Magazine and selected as one of their Top 10 Video Games of 2008. Fieldrunners has received the "Best Mobile Game" and "Achievement in Art" awards at the Independent Games Festival held during the 2009 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The game is featured on banners, cardboard stand-ups, and posters in Apple Stores across the globe.
