Matt Costello's innovative work includes ground-breaking and award-winning games, novels, and television.

Matt wrote the critically acclaimed game The 7th Guest, as well as dozens of other best-selling games such as Shellshock-Nam '67 (Eidos) and Doom 3 (ID) of which Time Magazine said, "To play Doom 3 is to feel your skin prickle with atavistic fear. The story is delivered with unusual art." Recent major games include Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End for Disney, it's first-ever US and UK #1 console title, and G-Force, a totally 3-D game for Disney/Bruckheimer.

Upcoming titles include ID's Rage - that will introduce their new technology, Tech 5 - and Just Cause 2, a sequel to his hit Just Cause.

Matt's recent suspense novel, Missing Monday, was recently optioned for television. His Beneath Still Waters was filmed by Lions Gate. He also wrote The Island of the Skull (Pocket Books), an original prequel to Peter Jackson's King Kong.

Matt has also been an interactive and creative consultant for James Cameron's Titanic, PBS, BBC, and television and game companies around the world.
