Known in the online world as Moorgard, Steve Danuser began his career as Community Manager for EverQuest II at Sony Online Entertainment. He transitioned into game design, contributing to EQ2's live updates and expansions, including the popular Echoes of Faydwer.

As Creative Director at 38 Studios, Steve is putting his talents for IP development, storytelling, game design, and community interaction to use on the company's upcoming MMOG, codenamed Copernicus. In 2009 he co-authored a chapter on writing for massively multiplayer online games in the book Writing for Video Game Genres. Danuser continues to discuss game design on his web site, Mobhunter.com.
